our Business Model
Youth unemployment is the most critical socio-economic crisis facing South Africa. With 55%* (or 6 million) of youth out of work, the triple threat of unemployment, inequality and poverty is real. Work transforms societies, bringing economic empowerment, skills development, dignity and purpose.
Our goal is creating an efficient labour market exchange that will shift the current market dynamics. We are confident that within ten years we will achieve the critical mass needed to create an efficient and economically viable entry-level ecosystem, with tangible benefits to this under-served population, business and society.
We measure success based on financial metrics as well as social metrics, and in this way, are part of building our country, one job at a time.
