Private sector youth placements
"My internship was both challenging and rewarding, and I am grateful for the opportunity to grow. Throughout this experience, I learned invaluable skills such as multitasking, completing tasks on time, and standing up for myself. I also learned the importance of believing in myself, even during tough moments. Interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and personalities taught me how to adapt and communicate effectively. While there were both good and bad moments, each one was a learning opportunity that helped shape me into a more confident and capable individual. I'm thankful for this internship and all it has taught me."
We opened 20 Job centres within Cape Town, in Universities, NGOs and social development centres where unemployed residents could come and apply for jobs in a variety of industries.
We created digital profiles for 30,000 unemployed Cape Town residents, conducted assessments for all 30,000, and delivered work-readiness training to 15,000 individuals. Through this initiative, we successfully secured permanent employment placements for 4,050 runemployed CT residents, helping to drive long-term job stability and economic growth in the community.
